ABOUT US

Here at LCA&P God’s word is the foundation for our mission and for our philosophy of education. His truth governs what we do and why we do it. Our philosophy begins with the belief that our precious children are a blessing from God, and as such, we are to train them in the ways of God.

OUR MISSION

Educate, Equip & Inspire

Educate

We will seek to educate the minds of students by providing the foundational basis for all future learning. A strong emphasis on learning the truths of language, mathematics, science, and history will be offered to ensure our students are prepared for a future of educational success.

Equip

We aim to see students grow into disciples of Christ who are fully equipped to live lives of worship and obedience to the Lord. Through our partnership with parents and the local church, we will do all we can to help students grow in their ability to live as healthy and beneficial members of their families, citizens in their country, and missionaries in God’s world.

Inspire

We will strive to model and instill a heart of love for God and others in the lives of our students. We will model this heart through our own lives of devotion to Jesus. We will instill this heart by helping our students see the infinite value of knowing Christ through intentional steps of spiritual formation with a focus on understanding and growing in the gospel.

WE BELIEVE

The Bible:

The Holy Bible was written by men divinely inspired, and it is God’s revelation of Himself to man.

All Scripture is totally true and trustworthy.

It reveals the principles by which God judges us, and therefore is, and will remain to the end of the world, the true center of Christian union, and the supreme standard by which all human conduct, creeds, and religious opinions should be tried.

The Trinity:

The eternal triune God reveals Himself to us as Father, Son, and Holy Spirit with distinct personal attributes, but without division of nature, essence, or being.

There is only one living and true God. He is an intelligent, spiritual, and personal Being: the Creator, Redeemer, and Ruler of the universe. Christ is the eternal Son of God.

Jesus perfectly revealed and did the will of God, taking human nature upon Himself.

In His death on the cross, He made provision for the redemption of men from sin.

He was raised from the dead with a glorified body, and He ascended into heaven.

Now, He dwells in all believers as the living and ever-present Lord.

The Holy Spirit is the Spirit of God, fully divine. He convicts men of sin, of righteousness, and of judgment. At the moment of regeneration, He baptizes every believer into the Body of Christ. He enlightens and empowers the believer and the church in worship, evangelism, and service.

The Gospel:

The gospel is the good news that Jesus died for your sins on the cross, and He rose from the dead, granting eternal life. If you confess with your mouth, and believe with your heart, that this good news is true news, you will be forgiven of sin and saved into a secure relationship with God himself.

The Church:

A New Testament church of the Lord Jesus Christ is an autonomous local congregation of baptized believers, associated by covenant in the faith and fellowship of the gospel; observing the two ordinances of Christ, governed by His laws, exercising the gifts, rights, and privileges invested in them by His Word, and seeking to extend the gospel to the ends of the earth. The New Testament speaks also of the church as the Body of Christ which includes all of the redeemed of all the ages, believers from every tribe, and tongue, and people, and nation.
